Maybe you’re rubbing too much and it’s getting irritated.

Hmm,well I wonder if it could be affected by a hormonal thing, you are still young, so technically your body may still be developing even if it seems to you that you are fully developed. Just continue to keep it clean, but continue to take notice of any changes. If it’s just more smegma, then I think that’s ok, but if you begin to feel itchy, or any other symptoms become apparent, such as a redness or swelling to the area then you could visit a doctor for some advice. Even though you are not sexually active, you can still get other infections like fungal infections which could just come from sweaty activities like sport, hot weather and eating particular foods. But for now, I wouldn’t worry, just if it gets worse or you get any more symptoms then visit the doctor.

The production of smegma markedly increases as the glands of the penis develop, perhaps in response to elevated testosterone levels.

Every guy’s body is different, perhaps you just naturally make more smegma. I know that’s no consolation, but there are still things you can do to “counteract” this.

Of course every time you take a shower/bath, it’s important to pull back your foreskin and wash under there. Use a mild (and preferably scentless) soap and water, washing the area like you would any other part of your body. It may help to also dry the area under the foreskin with a towel (gently) or just by having it exposed to the air, before returning the foreskin back over the glans (penis head).

Another thing that could help is that when you pee, pull back your foreskin. When you’re done, just wipe the remaining urine on a piece of toilet paper or the back of your hand (you’re going to wash your hands anyway). This’ll help prevent urine from remaining “trapped” under your foreskin, which could cause a smell and smegma.

Lastly, if/when you masturbate, be sure to wipe away the semen. Basically, anything left under the foreskin for long periods of time can somehow lead to smegma. You just need to wash it away regularly (once, at most twice, a day). So yeah, all simple things and simple solutions – it’s not really high maintenance or anything.

    Hope this helps.

no biggie-if your 4skin has more releasing to do this will occur, you are in the age range for it. You may also be “considering” sex more-and the drippage is more often since you are truly in the “hot” zone for the “breeding mode”. As we mature-it will happen more. If you wash every day-then you’ll be fine, it is not a bad thing-just a male thing, and that is good!

If you masturbate, do you wash off the head with something wet/moist? If not, the ejaculate may just dry there (although it appears to be gone, but really, it’s sticky).

Alright, smegma is made from dead skin, urine residue, semen residue, and precum residue. To keep it from building up so much, try wiping well after you pee, and definitely wipe it well after you masturbate or have been aroused to the point where you’re dripping a lot. As long as you keep it clean though, there should be no worries for you.
