Whatever position is most comfortable. Some guys keep theirs upwards, others downwards. Of course, if it starts to engorge, move it upwards so it won’t be painful.
if you position it downward, it looks normal and it will make your package look huge. If you position it upward and it gets hard, it will come out of the speedo. I would say the best is to position it to the side so that if anything.. u know.. it wont be too crazy visible.

I think most guy’s go with down. That’s just the way it looks best to me. Up looks a little weird.
Downwards. It’s more comfortable that way.
Pointing down looks stuffed and pointing up sticks out , so I go to the side.
