   Teach him how to clean it then let him. My son started taking showers by himself at this age and after he knew what to do he was fine.

   I don’t think you should pull back the foreskin till the boy is at least 5, so if that’s what you do now he is 5, I think that’s OK. When I used to babysit, I was sometimes asked to wash under there for the boy at bath time, and some were older than 5, perhaps 7 years.

   he’s already to old for you to be doing that. both my nephews were cleaning there penis’s just fine at age 4. if you show them how to do it they will do it. you’re babying him and he will not know how to care for himself as he gets older. you need to let him do it himself.

   My nephew just turned 6, and no one has checked his penis for cleanliness in a long time. If your son can bathe independently, then you should allow him to do so. We check on my nephew when he’s in the tub, but inspecting one’s penis is kind of weird…

   At 5 my son made it quite clear that he’s capable of taking care of himself. I’m sure he’s intelligent enough to know how to wash properly by now. You shouldn’t baby him. Good Luck!

   your child i sway to old for you to be checking his personal parts that is disgusting, as long as you taught him the right way to bathe he will be fine

   At this age he needs to be taught the proper way to take care of it & parents should leave it be.
